There are several forms of mystery shopping such as on-site mystery shopper visits where the mystery shopper directly visits the company or industry to evaluate them secretly. The process of mystery shopping involves the following steps: 1. Sign up for FloorWalk. 2. Receive the confirmation email, then log in to your account. 3. Fill in your personal and bank information. This is required to assign audits to you. 4. Look under the Audits section to find available audits in your location. 5. If you're interested in a specific audit, click 'Apply' to let us know. 6. If your application is approved, you'll receive a call from our project manager to explain the details. 7. Perform the audit as instructed and fill in the report. 8. Upload the required attachments and submit your report. 9. Get paid for the audit.
Audit assigning is system generated and depends on the auditor profile. Please refrain from calling project managers or the FloorWalk team for audit assignments. Also, please check below parameters for getting audits: 1. Make sure your auditor profile is complete. 2. Make sure that you are applying to the nearer date. 3. Please turn 'ON' your opportunity emails and 'Messages'. 4. Apply immediately after receiving opportunity emails or messages. 5. Please review your earlier reports. Report failure in the past might be the reason for non-assignments of audits.
The mystery evaluation usually takes about 30-45 minutes depending upon the audit. However, you should ensure you have enough time before your visit to read the assignment guidelines carefully and instructions to familiarize yourself with the assignment. You have to observe carefully in order to fill the report.
Sometimes, there may not be any audits available in your city; you should keep checking in to see available audits. Our automated system will email you whenever there is a new opportunity available in your city. You can then login and choose a preferred date when applying to the audit.
This varies according to the type of audit that is assigned to you; typically, we pay you within 6-8 weeks after submitting the report. Our automated system will email you as soon as your payment is processed. The mode of payment includes online bank transfers.
The audit fees vary from assignment to assignment, but it is always informed in advance. We will also inform you of any reimbursements against purchases or services availed during the audit.
No, you don't have to pay anything to register with FloorWalk.
It is freelance or part-time work, where you are given a time frame to conduct the audits and submit the report. A mystery shopper is not an employee of FloorWalk. It is up to you to accept or reject an assignment. However, once you have been approved to do the audit, ensure that you perform it with dedication and submit it within the given timelines.
In such cases when you are unable to complete an assignment by the due date because of unavoidable circumstances, please inform the project coordinator immediately - so that they can either reschedule it or arrange for another evaluator. If you do not inform on time, your chances of getting future assignments are reduced.
Prior experience in mystery shopping evaluation is not mandatory for an assignment. After screening the information or data provided at the time of registration, we will at times also provide appropriate training and guidance to you for conducting audits. Please do not let this prevent you from applying to audits.
Although we would have all of your evaluation records with us at all times. In case of non-payment of fees, you can refer back to audit numbers conducted - so that we can make the payments.
You will need the following resources to be a mystery shopper: 1. Internet access is essential - we use a secure online system that lists assignments and accepts your results. All the reporting will be conducted via our online portal. 2. An active e-mail account as this will be the main communication tool. 3. An active mobile number as this will be used to contact and explain any specific guidelines and training if needed. 4. A digital camera or a mobile phone with a good quality camera and voice/call recorder. 5. A bank account to get the shopper fees.
Feel free to apply to as many assignments as possible according to your convenience. However, the audits are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis matching the shopper profile.

Application approval is based on multiple factors like any specific profile that the client mentions, completion percentage of your profile details, and how early you have applied for the audits. If your application is approved, our project manager will call you to finalize the audit date. Till then, feel free to apply to any other opportunities that interest you.
